Jasper National Park is Canada’s largest and most northerly national Rocky Mountain park, spanning 10,878 square kilometers (4,200 square miles). The scenery is rugged and awe-inspiring.
The friendly picturesque townsite of Jasper is peacefully nestled in the midst of Jasper National Park, in a valley carved by the Athabasca River. Only about 4,000 people call this town home all year long, but during the busy winter and summer seasons, the population swells to 10 or 15 times its normal size, with visitors from around the world. Most of them come seeking the isolation and spectacular scenery that has made Jasper famous, as well as the exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities.

Jasper Riding Stables is nestled in the foothills of Pyramid Mountain, five minutes north of downtown Jasper on Pyramid Lake Road.

We have over 50 great horses of various ages, sizes, colors and personalities! Our horses are well-trained durable western mountain horses, hand-picked and well-suited for Jasper’s rugged terrain. Our professional staff will match you based on riding ability and profile.
